None. I use shaving cream or thick body wash kasi and I'm not hairy so I only have to run the shaver once. But yeah, a guy I dated uses electric shaver and his skin is soooo smooth. I got so curious I asked what he uses to shave lol. Kaya lang medyo mahal e

That's what I'm going to suggest. Electric shaver. Meron Philips tapos double A batteries. Clean shave naman. No cuts pa. So you don't need to buy blades all the time.

Yun business model ng Gillette eh. Mura ang "stick" ng shaver. Pero, tali ka at kailangan bumili all the time ng blade. Parang printer lang.

Cath in the long run mas makakamura ka sa electronic shaver. Especially if what you buy now are the disposable ones.

Meron ako electronic shaver more than ten years na ata pero di pa ako nagpapalit ng blade.

anyway, elec shaver is a good investment esp if you use it regularly... ako every other day if not everyday ako nag shashave sa bigote, para laging handa... haha..

    BTT: bought baseus wireless charger...

does anyone still remember (or even know about the existence of!) the old butterfly-type shaver that your grandfather used to use?
first, there was the cutthroat labaha.
this was followed by the safety razor by gilette. the holder was metal and can be expensive. but the "balas" were cheap; 5 flat razor blades in one small cardboard box.
now, we have the dispose-able and the re-fillable models.

    i used to electric.
i gave it up, as i could never get a shave as close as the manual blade types.

Barbers still uses labaha. Gives me the creep when my barber whips out his labaha and wipes it in front of me. I'm thinking this guy could cut my throat right now.

i like the feel ng old skul barber labaha [emoji28] maybe i'm so tito but nami-miss ko magpagupit kay manong barbero at ma-shave ng labaha batok at patilya ko lalo if i'm away that long from home. pero manong barbero is using blade na rin fitted sa labaha-shaped like holder, they split the blade in half then insert sa holder. though mas ok pa rin yung hinahasa sa leather belt [emoji38]

    "it's not safe anymore."
    hiv aids and all that.

but many barbers now use a labaha with disposable blades. one-use lang, or at least, that is what they were designed for.
so if you feel the blade isn't sharp enough...

Doc, still using that. Started with it because of my Lolo, went with the disposable then electric and now went back to those butterfly safety razors.

Haven't bought a refill in a long time. I have a couple Gillette blades from the last purchase good for a looong time. I am happy though that these safety razors are again available locally. Good brand pa. Parker razors

Butterfly type? Parang balisong? Akala ko you were referring to a labaha. Iba pa pala. Di ko pa nakita yun.

Sa barbershops now ginagamit nila hybrid na labaha. Style na ganun pero refillable ng blade. Pinuputol sa kalahati yung blade then clip dun sa labaha-type holder. I guess para matalas parati. No need to sharpen. After one use dispose na.

I remember my older barber. May leather belt that he uses to fine sharpen the labaha. Kasi tutoy pa at di aabot sa upuan. Hahaha

To go with the labaha hehe.

That old school smell. Naalala ko tuloy lolo ko. Very distinct pomada smell.

BTT: nag pa gas lang. Can't wait for the rollback. Di na aabot.
