    Duterte pumping infra = higher capital goods imports; great for economy and employment ; but still , means higher trade deficit and hence worse for current account

    Bad for peso

    Trump -- pump priming means higher deficit spending, borrowing more; higher int rates a certainty -- so could boost dollar

    Both the above -- means weaker PHP

    Forecast is 53 by Q2 of next year. And this is without the political shenanigans and upheaval that is about to unravel.
