decades ago, i was into photography... my favorite subjects were my nieces, and their growing-up milestones were well-documented...

it depends which mini-pc you are referring to.

rpis are used mostly for applications na headless/less power draw/smaller footprint/portable/DIY'ng. these are running linux OS.

mini-pcs have more power draw.
require more maintenance and additiional h/w peripherals to use.
