Separate SIM so easier to control / limit the speed ... it will definitely be lower and restricted ... otherwise the Globe and Smart subscribers will complain ...

GOMO is for users like me, who seldom go out and therefore no need to subscribe to data everytime I go out. It costs 299 for 30 GB data with no expiry. Before, I had to load the lowest Gosurf pack of 15 everytime I go out, so 20x na loading 300 na. I loaded this Jan 20 and till now, wala pang 0.6 GB nagamit ko, because I only use it when I go out on errands to stay connected, Google stuff when needed and Waze. You can also convert data to calls and/or text without expiry also. A minute of call costs 2 to all networks. It's powered by Globe and I think the smartest marketing move in anticipation of DITO.

Haven't tested the speed of my GOMO, but restricting the speed makes no sense, it's in their best interest that you consume the data immediately so you can buy again. How can you do that if the speed is not enough to watch a video which needs frequent buffering. Why would existing subs complain if the speed is the same as theirs, their plans are cheaper naman. I think plan 599 of Globe is 4 GB per day, so that's a total of 120 GB for 599, whereas GOMO will only give 60 GB for 598. But then, magkaiba kasi ang target market.

Mukhang mas tipid ang prepaid kaysa My current postpaid. I'm paying ₱999 monthly for 10gb data na may roll over up to 20gb, plus unli calls and unli text. Pero lagi puno yung 20gb ko because WFH naman and once a week lang lumabas. Also rarely text and call dahil may fb messenger.

If only I can bring my number pag nag convert ako sa prepaid and can get no expiry plan eh baka nag switch na ko. Kaso marami ako OTP na naka tie sa number ko.

During peak hours, the lower tiered plan (GoMo) will get last priority ... non-peak hours everyone's good ...

Bought an extra 16GB of DDR4 2666 RAM for my erstwhile (and now my oldest kid's) i5-8600 PC to bump up the RAM total to 32. She started using Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Suite which plods along on most normally configured PCs. 32GB RAM should be the minimum for it. I call it a parasite. Oh. I also added an extra SSD for use as a dedicated scratch disk.
