The weather will start to to worsen towards September as El Nino is in full swing... With drought condition next year.

Angat water level is below minimum operating level due o below normal rainfall...

Kaya Maynilad Angat Dam water allocation has been cut. Better ready those water tanks,,,

NOAA forecast calls for half of world’s oceans to experience heat wave conditions this year

Scientists say marine heat waves are already occurring in large parts of the North Atlantic, Pacific, Sea of Japan and the western Indian Ocean and will only continue to expand into September.

"In our 32-year record, we have never seen such widespread marine heatwave conditions," Dillon Amaya, a Physical Sciences Laboratory research scientist, stated.

According to model data, surface temperatures for about 40% of the oceans are already warm enough to meet the criteria for a marine heat wave, and the figure is expected to reach 50% by the fall.

"Normally, we might expect only about 10% of the world’s oceans to be ‘hot enough’ to be considered a marine heatwave, so it’s remarkable to reach 40% or 50%, even with long-term warming," Amaya said in a statement.

Warmer water temperatures can lead to enhanced tropical cyclones and impact weather patterns around the globe.

NOAA is paying close attention to marine ecosystems, which have suffered from massive fish die-offs and other food web disruptions during recent warm cycles.

    ayoko na ngang lumabas.
i think it's the lack of a breeze or wind, exacerbating the situation.
It was last night for me. My tank top was literally soaked in sweat. I had to take a bath again. Also, turned on the AC before sleeping. I rarely use AC to sleep

It couldbe because of the LPA, which increases humidity.

Heat Wave sa Taiwan and Japan...

Yung tipong parang naliligo sa pawis...

‘Extremely hot’ summer arrives in Japan amid climate change and El Nino | The Japan Times

Taiwan: Heatwave forecast across most regions through at least July 18 /update 2 | Crisis24

Heat raises risks of heart attack and stroke, doctor says - Taipei Times

The Ministry of Health and Welfare reported 236 cases of heat injury between July 1 and Saturday, twice the amount as the same period last year, but summer is also the peak period for acute cardiovascular events, the symptoms of which are often ignored given their similarity to heat injury, a doctor said on Sunday.

Heatstroke occurs when the body can no longer control its temperature as it rises above 40°C. The skin might turn red and dry and become hot, and the affected person might lose consciousness, the Health Promotion Administration (HPA) said.

Left untreated, heatstroke can quickly lead to shock, heart failure, multiple organ failure, rhabdomyolysis (rapid break down of damaged muscle tissue), disseminated intravascular coagulation (abnormal blood clotting) and other fatal complications.

the street between rizal memorial coliseum and the space of the former sm HP, was flooded.
