iyan ang pansin ko. parang ubos na ang karga ng clouds kapag makapadpad na sa southern part ng manila kaya bihira ang ulan maski cloudy
i'm guessing in more than 2 weeks this is the only time we've been blessed w/ rain. the other times when it has rained in q.c., bgc, makati, etc. it has been bone dry here in las pinas
Think of it this way..... One of many factors in daily weather is the atmospheric stability.
Cold over hot is unstable. An example is a cooler, moist air mass over the warmer terrain of Manila. Given enough time, the rain will fall as the clouds build uninterrupted. There is also orographic lift from Manila to the mountains east. When it rains on the mountain slopes, guess where the excess water will go? Back to Manila? Probably.
Warmer over cold usually result in stable conditions. Cooler moist air comes in over LPC/Alabang. That part is unstable. But, just east is that big cool lake which moderates cloud development until the air mass moves east of it. The air mass picks up additional moisture from the lake and dumps east of the lake. That's why even though it looks like the clouds are increasing, it doesn't rain much until the air mass is farther east.
There are also other factors such as orographic lift/terrain effects, time of day (or night), prevailing wind flow, moisture content, etc.

it might just be co-incidental, but i started noticing these rain patterns, when the reclaimed land where molopisya is now, came into existence.
i am guessing, that the warm temperature generated by the land there, is driving away the rainclouds.
Iyon bang "Binibini" ay pwedeng ihalera rito?

nun isa gabi first time ko nailusong yun wildtrak sa knee deep na baha, pwede
naman ako umikot pero kailangan kong panoorin yun naka queue ko na movies every night. i make it a point na i watch a new and recent movie everyday para gradual ang infusion ng new ideas sa psyche ko. and I dont repeat watching any movie anymore kahit na avengers or wonder woman pa yan, coz hello we only have 24 hours a days, sasayanging mo pa oras mo sa pagulit ng movie, grabe pa naman hollywood ngaun ang hahaba na nga ng movies, imagine average 2.5 hrs running time tapos we need to sleep at least 7 hrs a day sa sleep, then nag-eexercise pa ako ng 1.5 hrs a day so 13 hours na lang matitira sa kin tapos iikot pa ako para
ang umwas sa baha
Looks like the start of another sunny day. I wish it was cooler though. Temperatures still go over 100 F in the afternoon. I set up my old Logitech webcam as part of the Neighborhood Watch.
Although we have cops less than a minute away plus another who lives on our street, it's still handy to have video footage of vehicles entering and leaving.
