May 'haze'daw dito pero satellites show it's some form of dust cloud above. Color brown. So be careful today, madami magkarun ng resperatory problems.

The question is why dust? Is it some form of cosmic dust? Did a heavenly object explode above? If so, we might be inhaling something alien, katakot no

i remember amado pineda.. the country's pioneer "celebrity" weather forecaster in radio and TV..
he didn't confuse us with scientific jargon.
    he went practical...
mga misis, puede kayong mag laba at magkula ngayon... , or...
mga ser.. magdala kayo ng payong.., or...
mga chikiting.. sori but may pasok ngayon.. but magdala kayo ng kapote..

he confessed that he had to get a car.. he was always getting accosted in the jeepneys..

i wonder where he is now..

Tropical storm enters PAR, named 'Nona' instead of 'Nonoy'

    Saturday, December 12, 2015

MANILA -- The tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has intensified into tropical storm and has been named “Nona” as it enters PAR on Saturday morning, the state weather bureau said.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather forecaster Glaiza Escullar said "Nona", with international name "Melor", entered PAR at 4 a.m. Saturday, the 14th tropical cyclone to affect the country this year.

Escullar explained the tropical storm should have been "Nonoy" but was later on changed to "Nona" due to its landfalling characteristics and in respect to President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III's name.
