nakakalungkot naman to, im going there pa naman in January for an 18-month internship sa hotel, most probably sa central or east coast ako, ang baba nga ng sweldo, $10/hr, 40hrs per wk, i really need a 2nd job, pero bawal daw with J1 visa holders, so i need to have one which wont require papers, madali ba maghanap ng ganito?

Dapat kc work na ko sa emirates, kaya lang parang nakakabobo yung flight attendant job, so i think this is a much better alternative.

    OT:

Go for the J1 (Exchange Visitor Program) visa. Before 18 mos end, look for a sponsor that will give you an H1 visa. Who is your sponsor for the J1? PM me. Thanks.

with all due respect, i dont think nakakabobo is a good term to refer to a monotonous job such as flight attendant. sure, it could possibly be dull sometimes but it takes a lot of courage, patience, and determination to get the job done...

i am not a flight attendant but i have friends that are...
i think its better to have a decent job like that rather than not having one at all...

    but thats besides the point...

and in my opinion, US will never be the same again.

    pardon for my word.

i got admitted kc at cornell for post grad, ma in hotel mgt, pero parang mas gusto ko ng MBA that's why i think the experience at the hotel will be more helpful, it's a more solid foundation for mba kesa sa airline job.

Actually, after ng internship contract ill come back here para papalit ng visa kc nga mag-aaral pa talaga ako.
