When I was in La Salle (before getting the boot ), nanood kami ng games ng DLSU-UST (nung kasagsagan ng rivalry) games sa may Rizal. Sarap manood at ang lapit ng hardcourt.

Tawa na lang kami ng tawa sa mga sinisigaw ng iba taga DLSU like:

"Hoy Singson, magbayad ka muna ng utang mo..."

"Yung pawis ninyo ba't kulay dilaw din? May STD ba kayo?"

Nung frosh din ako, we had a classmate from UST HS. Naturally he was still rooting for his alma mater. Nung natalo ang UST in one the games, the next day when he came to class biglang kantyawan ang inabot nya. Sa sobrang inis eh biniba ang libro tapos biglang sigaw na "PAK U KAYONG LAHAT" habang naka ngarat ng 2 kamay. :rofl:

this happened with a blockmate of ours too.

we had two former ateneans in our block, and one of them was even a former blue eaglet.

it was thursday, a lasalle vs. ateneo game is set at 6:00pm, our very first foray into the rivalry as college undergrads. all of us were so giddy and ready to rock n' roll. after every class we chant lasalle cheers (yeah, we were that stupid. froshies na froshies talaga.)

the two guys were just smiling and laughing. it was a sea of green, with two oddballs wearing blue.

the next day, it was a riot. everyone was pelting them with paper and books and whatever we can reach. :bwahaha:

Hahaha YUP! Kahit san ako pumunta either may kakilala ako or lagi ko nakikita sa school. Lately ko lang narealize na kahit di ganun kalaki CSB, ang dami pa din galing ng CSB.

OT: Maybe we should start a college "parking" thread -- marami kaya mag-post? Usually kasi sa mga parking sa school maraming nangyayaring kababalaghan. Hehehehehe

Hehehe never been there sa Moldex pero true yun. Dati galing ako cityland napasilip ako, madilim nga hehehehe. Sa Jollibee parking din medyo madilim sa dulo (umihi kasi ako dati sa gilid kasi sabi nung bantay kahit san ko daw gusto ok lang hehehehe). Gumawa na ko thread for parking.

If you really want college or university insults go to any RED LION game in the ncaa.. and you'll know what insults mean!!!... and long before the famed ateneo - lasalle rivalry today it does not compare to the ateneo - beda rivalry back then!!! its so intense back then that the very last game of the ateneo at the ncaa which is also their very last championship game in the ncaa had to be played closed doors! to prevent from any riots to happen!! GO SAN BEDA FIGHT!!!!

I was once like you guys, I laugh everytime I read jokes about schools but when I went overseas as an immigrant, I had a humbling experience, humbling enough that it made me realize that a real test for a student is to deal not only with academic problem but financial as well. I was glad that thru the help of the Government, I got student loan for my university, accomodation allowance for my stay and got a part time job in a supermarket. Combining work, study and hunger is not a laughing matter. I am grateful that I was supported and pampered by the NZ Government and because of this experience, I can relate to those Filipino students who have less in life. Yes, it was meant to be a joke and I became serious about it, but is it funny?Especially if you are taunting other students that they can only go to Araneta if there's a jeep?Duh! I maybe dumb for not getting the punchline.
