This morning, there was no traffic from Novaliches to Makati. Ang sarap magbyahe, but you have to watch out for debris lying on the road.
It sad to see fallen trees, damaged properties; but it's good to see EDSA with less billboards.

sa amin po sa Taguig, near Laguna De Bay one neighbor lost their entire roof. sila kasi pinakamataas na bahay sa area. our old house got spared with minor damages on the roof.
my Tatay's small garden at the backand his plants in front of the house sira lahat. still we're lucky, in the height of the storm we saw small "ipo ipo" hovering near the houses by the bay. our garage roof & gate were also shaking, but it did not fail us. unfortunately, my sister's room got flooded because of the strong wind + rains.
this is how it looked like driving through DOST in bicutan, to get to SShway today ...
:cry2: :cry2: :cry2:
my rear windshield, shatterd and in 3 pieces being held together by the tint na lang.
nabagsakan ng puno. i even looked at the darn tree, kita ko okay naman ang di sya mau-uproot. bad trip nagsplit in half. :cry2:

ang alam ko kapag forces of nature eh hindi...
but i might be wrong
not sure pero wala ata sa standard insurance..pero pwede ata isali pero dagdag sa premium
re: insurance claim
if policy has a rider for "Acts of God", and add'l premium paid : YES
Acts of God not normally covered, not unless you paid additional premium to include it.

seriously may "acts of God" clause? hehe.
i'm hoping my insurance would cover it, alam ko lang we pay additional premium for additional coverage di ko lang sure kung may ganong clause.
Stupid BILLBOARD!
Last night, I tried to go home at 5PM. I heard from the news that EDSA was slow due to a fallen billboard. So I took C5. I joined C5 from Market Market. Langya... sobrang traffic. SO I took a U-TURN at the Kalayaan intersection, went back to the fort and tried my luck at EDSA. When I exited from Kalayaan, yun nga... traffic. But it was moving.
Then I saw that stupid billboard... malapit sa may Hyundai Showroom.
The thing fell and blocked all the two left most lanes of EDSA. The crane that was trying to lift the billboard on the other hand blocked ALL BUT the 1 left most lane.
Damned busses...parang motorsiklo kung sumingit. Almost got sideswiped.
All because of a stupid oversized billboard. The owner of that billboard should be hanged.
they should copy the billboards of kl malaysia which looks like they could withstand anything
Along NLEX - minimal damage. Most of the billboard operators rolled up their giant ads yesterday. Lots of felled trees by the side but debris was minimal.
EDSA is looking good. The minor debris were already removed by yesterday. The fallen trees near P Tuazon were already removed. The billboard near Estrella / Kalayaan is already being removed this morning. Kudos to the MMDA & AFP for cleaning up EDSA that fast.
Makati is just pathetic. There are still fallen trees along Paseo de Roxas, Kalayaan, McKinley.
