December 21st, 2004 02:26 AM #1Guys I am contemplating of getting one as a Christmas gift for myself, do you think shelling out 17K for an Oakley Juliet worth it? I can’t stop thinking about it ever since I saw the pair on a sunglass store hehehe.

As of this moment, I am wearing an Oakley prescription glasses. A testament to how much I'm satisfied with its products.

they are some of the best "engineered" sunglasses on the market. as far as function and durability (especially if you need sunglasses for sports) they have no equal.
but no, they're not worth 17k. a big part of that money is marketing.
btw, i bought a pair of Juliets the first week they came out (kasabay ng movie na Mission Impossible 2) so i bought into the marketing also

Wala akong ibang mahanap na maganda ang style when it comes to prescription glasses. Every year qualified ako sa new glasses. Ever since then, may tatlo na akong Oakley.
