I saw this news item at Unang Hirit.
MMDA to lead EDSA blessing this morning "to lessen" (daw) the accidents on this main thoroughfare.
And take note.....it would take more than one drum of Holy Water, to bless the whole stretch of the hi-way. Ha-ha!
Sa tingin nyo ba, mababawasan ang accidents, kung puro mga ogags naman ang mga public utility drivers natin?
Aba...., sana bless-an din ni father yung mga kotong cops at traffic enforcers......

Too bad I'm not in Manila... would have loved to take a picture.
So far, no reports of "pasaway" drivers bursting into flames. Must try harder.

July 6th, 2012 09:46 AM #10So that's what that was all about. I saw the start of that convoy when i was coming from White Plains. Inunahan ko na as i did not want to get caught up. A bus was even speeding past them at the leftmost lane, and nope, the driver did not burst to flames either as Niky hopes they would.
But seriously, blessing to decrease accidents?

The holy water would be better used to dunk all the MMDA and PNP officiers and see if they suddenly become honest, uncorrupted and truly do their jobs without bias to anyone.
