    Pinoys complain too much. In Singapore and South Korea, mandatory service is required for all when you are 18.

    the philippine concept of a citizen's army (required rotc) was macarthur's idea, back in the day.

    personally, i believe rotc helps build character.
    i vote for putting it back as a requirement.

    Today, I Learned that Military Training (CAT or ROTC) builds character.

    Specially when you're the Corps Commander.... 😉☺️

    Dun sa builds character di ko po alam Sir CVT hahahahahaha [emoji23].. nag CAT ako 3rd year high school kasi nga magiging automatic officer kapag 4th year.. Excited lang ako nung nag physical exam at yung may training kami na pinasuot kami sa maputik, masikip at kailangan commando crawl atbp..
    Pero sablay ako sa commands.. Lagi ako ang pinapa-lead ng Corp Commander namin kapag gusto nila sumaya.. Nakakarating sa plant box yung buong platoon kaka-march.. may problema pa ako nun sa kanan at kaliwang panig.. [emoji28] Kung meron man na build baka "funny character" hahahahahaha..

    Being able to laugh at and move on from those incidents is endearing... Especially when one of your S staff dropped his sword during your parade in review or a platoon commander dropped his rifle....

    our unit made this gimmick, for long-standing tikases.
    medyo pabulong si officer, "pulutong! pa-kaliwa! nah!"
    and we, as a unit, would sway our butts to the left.
    after a few minutes, "pulutong... pa-kanan... nah.."
    heh heh.
