The entire Taal Caldera is uplifting due to magma rising up.

Other implications: tilapia prices going down. Bad idea to invest in fish cages now.

I've always been very vocal against all the development in Tagaytay, but mala Agent Smith naman itong si Mini:

"It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not actually mammals.

Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not.

You move to an area and multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area.

There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You are a plague and we are the cure...

Ano ba yan, ang kulit nyo sabi ni Sir Taal, i did this for you to realize the sensitivity of the situation, why im teaching you a lesson

Pero hinde yun iba, pera pa din iniintinde, yun daw mga invest nila sa gulay , fishpen, hotel etc

Oh well, no lesson learned talaga. So bahala na lang sila, baka sunugin na talaga ni Sr. taal lahat yan in the next days to come

What the Taal Volcano ‘worst-case scenario’ could look like

"Much of the caldera is hidden by Lake Taal, and only a small portion of the volcano sits above the waves."

The LGUs are discouraging civilians wanting to bring relief goods from going near the danger zones. Those who want to help should bring to known centers like the Red Cross or the AFP. Hazardous eruption is imminent as far as they are concerned.

This is scary. What will happen if it erupts? Another ashfall? Lava? Lahar? Earthquake?

EDIT according to PHILVOLCS when there is base surge surrounding areas will lose oxygen and people won't be able to outrun it

maybe it’s time to adopt to the ancient ways na. phivolcs seem to cant understand whats happening talaga. Puros scientific explanation na magulo na

When Columbus arrived in the Americas, gulat sila mga mayans nag ritual dun sa mga pyramids nila, nag pupugot ng ulo , mass beheading ang nagyayari

Sabi nila Columbus, ohmigosh thats so uncivilized. Ang hinde nila may imminent super eruption noon nun dumating sila sa America, kaya nagpupugot ng ulo ang mga Mayans.

So bale sila nag direct benefit dun eh, pinagpapatay nila yun mga nag sacrifice and hinde na pumutok ang bulkan, in the name of Christianity and Civilization

Maybe Taal wants a sacrifice, thosw culpable of the mess the environment they’re in. Taal wants heads to roll. Hinde naman siguro Mass beheadings pero parang Joe vs Volcano, someone should jump in the volcano, to calm the volcano

Alam ko sobrang fiction eto, pero pag na-realize nyo lahat na ang next eruption ng taal is like 8 times what we had last Sunday, so x eight the ashfall din, siguro maniniwala na sin kayo sa human sacrifice.

The question is who? Syempre, kung kanino galit ang Taal, yun mga tao dun na inubos at nagpasasa sa kabaitan nya.

I guess we have to think in terms of that na

    —-

This is really very illogical whats happening, taal pumping magma all around from South Chuna sea to Batangas, from Paciific Ocean to Quezon to taal

    Galit na galit sya!
