hi peeps... i think meron nang thread about this, but i want to ask u guys again, ok pa ba mag business sa pinas?

Naisip ko kasi, 3 yrs nako pabalik balik ng pinas eversince nag work ako dito sa Tokyo, but everytime i go home, panay labas ng pera, walang pumapasok. I realized na i should save na para mag business na sa pinas, para di lang for vacation purpose ang pag uwi uwi ko dyan, and at d same time, i want to help some of my relatives na jobless ngayon and/or magiging jobless in d future.

as of now, im thinking about 24 hours convenience store (mala-mercury drug), or bar and restaurant (problem ko lang mga menus), or product exporting (mag-import ako dito ng mga philippine interior displays and goods...)

what do u think? i asked my mom kaso ayaw nya magrisk ng business sa pinas dahil mahirap daw mga business dyan.. thanks in advance

You can get 7-11's standard package at 3 million. At the worst, you'll merely break even in the 5 year lease period... at the best, you'll make back that money within two years.

Depende lang naman sa business. No matter how hard life is, people still need to eat, so food industry and convenience stores still do okay naman. Best na may consultant ka when scouting out possible investments.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

ministop is also open for franchise... just pick a good spot (preferably near a call center) and there you go...

    depends sa business eh.

my dad once told me to sell one of our shops.established na and running.you just have to manage the paper works.wala nang waiting time to earn.

mayt iba pang mga ganito na nariring kami na binibenta ang business.you just have to scout around.

starting a business is reallllyyyy hard and frustrating lalo na dito sa pinas.yung pangapat na shop nga namin laging nalulugi.so we decided na tatlo nalang para mas madali i manage.

basta no joke ang business dito sa pinas.sounds too gasgas...but TIYAGA talaga.

convenience store. stay away from 7-11, mataas masyado franchise fee nila. di naman tinitignan ng tao yung 7-11 label, ang hinahanap e yung content. search the internet abour franchising in the philippines, may website dyan. also search mo philippine convenince store businesses. meron ako nakita dati sa philippine website 1M lang complete na, franchise, store equipment and 1st inventory. forgot the name though.

forget about giving jobs to your relatives, that is the first element for bankruptcy! kaya mo ba idemanda ang kamaganak mo in case they run away with your money? "dami naman pera ni ate pundar na lang siya ulit bago negosyo..." if you aim to go in business, be professional all the way. hire a store manager who will run your business as businesses should be ran. pag kamaganak nilagay mo dyan e di ginawa pang personal atm yang business mo. you can always help them in other ways.

if you're thinking about getting a ministop franchise...better ask former/current owners first. me nakukuha akong negative feedback about it.

para sa akin medyo mahirap ang franchise, you wont be earning as much as you would want to, youd only earn good if the franchise name smells good and it depends on your market, for example you would want to put up a 7-11 that opens for 24 hours, mas ok create a namen of your own nalang, like 24/7 =) if you think mas convenient yung 7-11 think agen di ka din makakatulog sa gabi and tututukan mo din yan kasi youve invested quite a sum, so it would be a wiser idea to hire someone more efficient to help you than pay 7-11 royalty=)

make sure theres a big demand on your chosen location

Try this!!! Convert your Condo into a Bed space..Pwede mo pag kasyahin ang 8 person or more sa isang unit depende sa size ng unit mo.. Good thing is most of the call center person tulog lang talaga sila and when you say Bed Space limited ang mga gamit nila..If wala kang Condo Unit try to rent na alam mo na kikita ka pag nag pa Bed space ka...

yebo is absolutely right. no matter what business you decide to get into, be professional all the way. maraming friendships and family relations nasisira dahil dyan.

I think the food business is still ok. yun nga lang, location, menu and price are very important. sometimes in business swertihan lang din e, its not just the right idea, its also the right timing.

    goodluck.

eto opinion ko, di ba taga-angeles ka?

    1) JDM Car accessories - start small muna.
Same pa rin by-order basis lang, meron dapat deposit from the buyer.
Marami dito sa AC na manufacturer, export it to Japan. But you might need to know the "importation" rules ng Japan before going into this. Puhunan mo dito ay digital camera for your "relative" na mag-sosource out dito and then mag-eemail sa iyo to show to your clients.

Ang GENERAL rule ko sa negosyo is NOT to create needs but rather to SATISFY needs or wants. Huwag ka nang magre-invent ng gulong...watch your target market area or people and determine what do they need, then satisfy their needs.

Actually, that's not a bad idea (ukay ukay) for small income generation, but not a real big money earner.

Whether Ministop or 7-11, things can go sour if you get the wrong location. A 7-11 or Ministop near a palengke (paradoxically) usually does well, as does one near a hospital (I'm looking at getting the one across from ours). Ministop may cost less to franchise than 7-11, but then 7-11 has good staying power. The one near my wife's house in Cubao outlasted the bigger Ministop that opened up beside it (pero mismanaged at poorly positioned yata ang Ministop na yan). Contrariwise, I've seen 7-11s close down also because of poor sales.

Like I said, you'll need a professional consultant to help you scout the market at the place you want to set up... no matter what business you want to set up.

As for family, it depends. I don't want to say anything negative because I'm in a family business, but I'll tell you this: If they're family, it's harder to fire them if they are a liability. Choose which family members you want to use, and only put them there if they're qualified and competent. Otherwise, keep them out of operations and just give them dividends.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

what if you're pretty good at fixing up houses...viable ba yung business dyan na bibili ka ng fixer-upper na bahay, then sell it for profit? just wondering...kasi i know a few people making a great living here doing that...plus they love what they do, which is a great bonus.

walang madaling business... and wala rin lugar na pangit magbusiness... nasa tao yan... mahirap kung sandali ka lang dito kasi kailangan mo tutukan yun business for the first few months... as in araw araw talaga...

ministop requires personal management... di sila papayag ng franchise na hindi yun may-ari mismo ang mag-manage... so medyo out na yun kasi bisita-bisita ka lang...

never ever mix personal life with your professional/business life... including relationships... mabuti na cousin mo lang yun isang tao kaysa cousin/employee... complacent sa job minsan ang mga pinoy lalo na kung alam nilang FOB (Friend/Family Of the Boss) sila... unless anak mo or magulang mo... sa family business namin, ako lang yun pasok... lahat out na... di pwede magpasok basta basta...

okay ang condo pero consider mo rin na ibinabalik ang condo after ilan decades... so study the roi...

why not import japanese luxury goods here in the philippines or baliktad?

if furnitures importing exporting gusto mo... pwede rin yun... im considering it nga rin since maganda yun...

    *yebo, chip

tama ka... marami magkakamag anak ang nagkakatalo bec of money. Pero syempre once i hire them, business is business, and i-oorient ko sila... try ko lang.

    * glennster

anong business nyo? di ba kayo nagpapa franchise?

    *hens, wildthing, smooth

naisip ko na rin magbiyehera, pero super mahal dito, walang mura dito... yung pwedi kong i-market lang dyan class A and B when it comes to clothes and accessories..

    *FXT

    di ko gets...

    tnx jedi and zero
