just do a mental math, compute how many vendors are there then times ng 150 per day for the "permit" from city hall. holy smoke..... the total amount of money is no joke. pwera pa yan yun mga pay parking sa sidewalks na authorize ng city hall, na pilit ni cclear ni Nebrija pero hinde mabuwag kasi may basbas galing city hall.

City hall records for Isko Moreno: Still zero

MANILA, Philippines —Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso can’t still get his hands on the city government documents and records from the team of former Manila Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada.

During his first state of the city address at the Manila City Hall, Moreno said his predecessor still has not turned over the documents.

“Sa pagharap ko ngayon sa inyo, ang tanging opisyal na datos na dala ko ay… Zero. Nothing. Wala,” Moreno told the Manila council.

“Walang kahit isang dokumentong nai-turn over officially ang nakaraang administrasyon sa aking pamunuan,” he added.

Some of the documents that should be turned over to the current Manila administration are: Comprehensive Development Plan, Annual Investment Plan, Local Government Investment Plan, Comprehensive Land Use Plan, Executive Legislative Plan, Capability Development Plan, Executive-Legislative Plan, Executive Orders, Commission on Audit Report (CY 2018), Contracts and Loan Agreements, and Governance Assessment Report.

Reports on budget, debt, procurement, cash flow, and local disaster risk reduction management fund utilization are also among the documents that the mayor wanted to be transferred to his administration.

Speaking to reporters after his speech, Moreno said that his camp has “no interest” anymore with Estrada’s party.

“We have no interest to them anymore, tapos naman na yung pagkakataon and tingin ko the memo itself expires yesterday,” he said.

According to him, his administration would personally get the reports from each department in Manila following the failure to turn over of documents.

“Kasi kapag hindi naman namin ginawa, kawawa naman kayong taxpayer ng Maynila at mamamayan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. Yung wala kaming gagawin ay bagay ring kasalanan na maituturing,” he said.

During the Management Committee meeting attended by incumbent department heads, Moreno ordered all the incumbent highest-ranking officials to turn over all official documents to the city administration.

Moreno said that he expects to receive all documents by Tuesday, July 2.

“Pupulutin namin ang mga dokumentong ito sa bawat opisina ngayong araw,” he said.

“First to express willingness and readiness to turn over their official documents is the Office of the City Budget. We expect all to comply today,” he added.

The turnover ceremony was initially scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the VIP Lounge of the Quirino Grandstand in Manila last Friday.

The event, however, was canceled after Estrada and members of transition team did not appear.
