Only went to Conti's in Nuvali once or twice. No matter how delicious the food is... no food is worth putting up with the incredibly horrible service at Conti's Santa Rosa. Sayang. The service was better at their old branch in BF.

I don't even like mango bravo. Isama mo na razon's sa mga paborito ng SC halo halo saba lang laman diba saba con yelo tawag dun?

It's not the laman... it's the flavor. They use good milk and good flan, so it's very rich to the taste despite not having all the ingredients. Chowking Halo-Halo, on the other hand, is chock-full of stuff, but tastes flat... like water mixed with (too little) instant milk and a ton of sugar.

And, c'mon... Social Climbers don't do Halo Halo... it's all about the milk tea. Serenitea is the new Starbucks.

Oh... the food itself is great. Yun lang... the reason I hate eating at Conti's here in Laguna is because the service staff is bizarrely incompetent. We ate on the second floor, once, and asked the waiter to get us something. He said something to the effect that he couldn't leave to go to the kitchen because nobody would be there to take orders. There were three groups there. So... if the other groups ask... he can't go downstairs, either? He can't leave because other people might also want something he won't leave to get? Idiot. Service there is always slow, always stupid and sometimes awfully inept. My brother once waited thirty minutes for a medium-rare stake that came out completely well-done. That was the last time we ate there.

They catered for PGMA two or three years ago. Palpak. Sayang... the food is great.

Which Conti's branch is this that's jejemon heaven? Not the one in BF? Haven't been that way in a long time. Nag-cra-crave na ko ng Shawarma ng BF, p're... OMG... it's been like so long, grabe!

UCC Corinthian Hills is a nice place for breakfast meetings if you're in the QC-Ortigas area.
