MANILA, Philippines - Naaresto sa entrapment operation ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang umano’y utak sa ‘SIM swap scam’ at mga kasabwat nito kamakailan sa Calamba, Laguna. Kinilala ni Special Investigator Lira Ana Labao ng NBI Investigation Division ang suspek na si Franco Yap De Lara, dating sales agent ng Toyota Motors, at ang kasabwat na si Ramir Pacual, kapwa residente ng Quezon City.

Nambio called up San Juan police chief Senior Superintendent Ariel Arcinas and have the driver of his stolen car, Mark Yap alias “Franco de Lara,” 35, arrested.

Police said Yap, of 59 Masikap Extension in Barangay Diliman, Quezon City, is cooperating in the investigation.
