why blame the rich people if they have all the money in the Phils. they deserve it bec. they used their minds in achieving their goals. they never complained, they lived life accordingly, regardless if the business atmosphere is good or bad. me, I'm not rich, in fact I have a small business that's slowly going down the drain, I drive a 6-yr old car that I cant even casa-maintain. But I dont blame them. All I can blame is myself coz I never trained myself whenever I had the time/chance to become as wise as them. Instead of hating them, I admire them and make them my role models.

yes I agree that the country is rich in natural resources, but do we have the means to harness it? the "means" alone can cost billions of dollars.

for example, Palawan is rich in oil. since the 60's alam na ito. But do we have the dollars to buy oil drilling equipments & rigs? I watched megastructures
in national geographic, and oil drillers/rigs can cost as much as a small nation's annual income.

Our country is rich with agricultural farm lands. But do we have the dollars to buy expensive fertilizers, farming equipments & tractors like in the US? Until now, we still rely on the dependable carabao. and our farm output is pretty much dictated by the carabao's limitation.

South America, Africa, India are very rich in natural resources. In fact, even greater than ours. But still they are as poor as we are.

you don't know how they abused their being close to marcos? the martial law era was also the worst era of labor issues if haven't know it yet. so many laborers who wanted to fight for their rights just disappeared and until now their family could not find even just their graves. it was also the greatest time of land grabing that the poor people has no options but others just joined the NPA's. i know a number of politicians and rich people in western visayas who own thousands of hectares now but didn't even spend a single centavo from it.

sometimes kase yan pag-organize nakasama pa sa tin lahat.

for example the tricycle drivers grouping together bec. i-phaseout ang 2-stroke engines or taxi drivers grouping together to prevent the LTO from phase-outing 10 yrs or older PUVs, or Subic laborers questioning the govt. ban on RHD's or refurbished units from Japan. And of the course, the mother of all labor group, the transport group who keeps us all hostage at least for a day when they dont get what they want.

There are some good people in govt or investors who pushes for cleaner roads/environment, hence, they want to uplift the current standards of buses, phase-out the jeepneys/tricycles and perhaps ink a deal to Toyota to mass manufacture more safe & prettier PUVs. Pero la nangyayari, alam mo ba na mas mura pa ang isang BUS na karamihan nasa EDSa kaysa sa isang mid-size sedan ngaun.

i am quite certain that it was the GMA camp who had garcillano monitored (by wiretap)... to make sure that he wasnt going to be cheating GMA. apparently, medyo kilala na yang si garci as a veteran "fixer", so perhaps the GMA camp couldn't completely trust him, hence the need to "make sure" that he was kept in line.
