Ok. I promised I was done. But, what the hey. If you noticed the person who owns that website, he's fluent in Nippongo. He's a naturalized Japanese citizen, has a Japanese passport, has a Japanese wife with their kids born there. Yet, he was refused entry on basis that he looked "foreign".

If that isn't racial discrimination, I don't know what is. No amount of excuses (be it to keep the peace, or poor command of the english language) can justify it. I don't know how you people were raised. But, I was raised by my folks believing I'm on an equal footing with everyone else. When I see stuff like these, it really disappoints me. Obviously, I'm not in my home turf. So it's best to keep my mouth shut. But, if this was in AZ, I'd be joining the mob wanting to torch the place down.

Those signs....... replace "foreigners" with "colored people" and they'd fit in perfectly in the (US) Old South of the 50's and 60's. They wouldn't sit well with people back home.

And certainly, I lost all notions of the Japanese as being "fellow" Asians. Asians, maybe. Fellow? Nah.
