saw a pre-owned panerai yesterday. very minimal difference lang sa brand new considering na 2010 model pa un.

oh okay sir, when the sales lady was explaining to me when I was looking for Carrera watches, she pointed me to that particular watch and sabi sa akin eh, that watch is special kasi ung movement gawa mismo ng TAG comapred sa other Carrera watches na iba ung gumawa ng movement.

TAG is a holding company that owns Heuer. TAG bought it in the late/middle 80's, hence the name TAG-Heuer. TAG does not manufacture watch movements, it is still being done by Heuer. So AFAIK, all TAG-Heuer watches have Heuer movements, unless the company comes up with a joint venture or something ... with other watch makers.

Di ba modified ETA based movement ang TAG? Parang Breitling tsaka IWC. AFAIK di talaga sila true manufacture like Rolex, Zenith, PP and JLC.

yes, TAG buys third party movement (ETA) and modify it. they call their modified movement as calibre. i think breitling has its own in-house movement for B01
