Medocare yung notorious na hindi nagbabayad ng doctors' fees. But our company is now with Cocolife.

I'm asking because my wife is considering transferring to my daughter's Medicard as dependent. Doble kasi ang coverage limit at sagot pa ng company ang premium ng hanggang 2 dependents. Pero kung marami naman ang doctors na hindi tatanggap ng Medicard e hindi na lang.

I would go with medicard if the coverage is better. they have offices in slmc and tmc.

Yup, ang hirap hirap pa ng procedure, daming tao and it will take HOURS to get things done. I would rather pay than use medicare.

Why not continue with your existing and be a depenent for the other?

My brothers and i used that trick before when my Dad was alive. When my limit was wiped out, we changed to my brother's hmo benefit.

Challenge is dapat accredited yung doctors ng both hmo

nakaka bwiset yang maxicare. after mo mag consult (usually sa ENT kami kasi we have sinus allegies and swimmers' ear ng anak ko), kelangan mo magpa-approve for the procedure na ginawa na hindi kasama dun sa initial approval for consultation only.

kakausapin ka pa ng ahente nila sa phone and tatanungin ka pa about your medical condition as if parang doktor din siya - anung naramdaman, ilang araw na, anung gamot na ininom ko. sinasabi ko na lang na lang ayaw ko din naman gumamit ng health card kasi it means may sakit ka.

anyway, the best we had was Intellicare. no questions ask. pag na-confine ka, bibisitahin ka ng agent nila sa hospital at magalang at mabait naman yung approach nila. hindi yung tipong may pagdududa.

I remember maxicare unknowingly did this to our then head of HR. They even decided to initially deny the benefit kasi di raw yun ang dapat unang ginawa ng attending doctor.

Needless to say, the renewal of their contract was put on hold... For the entire bank and subsidiaries.
