question regarding classification of licence

Only college kids like to show-off their Professional Driver's License in school - add to their pogi points. But for grown-ups who drive private vehicles, pro or non-pro - doesn't matter. It's just a wallet filler.

I dont think its "ASTIG" to have pro drivers license. di mo naman siguro i-pipin yan sa shirt mo na parang ID para makita ng lahat na pro ka.

Why waste time trying to change your license from non pro to pro if you don't need it. Having a professional license doesn't necessarily mean your a good driver, it's how you drive, not what kind of license you have.

pero may tanong ako din..if non-pro ka then nag drive ka ng friend's car tapos naapprehend ka diba violation yun??

pag non-pro dapat family owned vehicles lang ang pwede idrive. kaya gusto ko din mag pro kasi para kahit kaninung car pwede kong idrive.. plus pag umuwi ako sa amin i can drive our trucks pag trip trip lang hahahaha

but then kelangan ata ng NBI clearance, hindi na sa taft ngayon kukunin, sa sta cruz na.. then dami pang ek ek dba? gusto kong isabay sa renewal ko

i don't think there's a violation here. unless your friend's car is a taxi.

sheesh.sorry pare..pero parang insecure ka yata at gusto mo pang ibaling sa licence mo ang pagka astig.sorry ha.naiinis kasi ako dahil dati, may sumanggi sakin na motorcycle..tiningnan ang licence ko, aba..ang sabi ba naman sakin eh..."NON PRO KA!!KAYA PALA TANGA TANGA KA EH!!!"

sabi ko "EH TAENA MO PALA BUS BA DALA KO!?" i dont need a pro just to drive better.

i got a pro DL right after my student license... was driving a motorcycle then (hmmm.. that was in year... secret na nga lang...), but had 1 & 2 codes since i also know how to drive 4 wheels..

my purpose then is NOT to make someone (classmates, friends, etc) have an astig impression on me... i needed it because my cousin's family used to own a couple of taxi cabs, which i usually drive during the weekends (car barn sched is usually on saturdays) para mamasyal.. and sometimes sideline ng byahe para may pang defray ng gas expenses consumed during the lakwatsa

and also, when i go back to our province, merong tricycle (for hire) ang family ng barkada ko, di sya marunong mag-drive kaya pinapadrive nya sa akin kapag punta kami ng beach, basketball game sa kabilang bayan, etc..

one time, nakita ng officemate ko license ko, she asked me "bakit ka naka pro, naging driver ka ba ng PUV?"

I smiled an said, at some point of my life, i drove taxi cabs and tricyles..

so yon, choosing btween pro or non-pro really depends on your needs..

kung di mo naman kailangan, hwag ka na mag pro.. i think meron difference ang penalty ng LTO, mas mahal kapag pro hawag mong license... am not sure with this though..
