Hi everyone! I am bringing back this thread because it might prove to be useful to me. As of their current quality of polos, which is better among the two?

I can personally tell that Lacoste fabrics are softer than the one used sa Fred Perry. I also know that Lacostes can be a bit loose (if classic fit) and the Fred Perry can be a bit more fitted.
Pero, ano yung mas matibay at tatagal? Please consider both lines of Fred Perry (Made in England and Made in China), plus the usual Lacoste lineup (Made in China/Vietnam).

If you want, go ahead and rank them. But more importantly, please do explain why. Thanks in advance!

I like Lacoste on men. My Dad's been wearing it since the 80s :bwahaha: Why not try other classic brands as well?

I wonder what happened to the Sergio Tacchini brand. My Dad used to wear that a lot too.

I have more Lacoste shirts, but recently I've developed a fondness for Fred Perry.

I agree with your observations - Lacoste shirts feel thinner, and fit is generally inferior to Fred Perry (although Lacoste slim fit is good enough).

Fred Perry shirts are more expensive though, 4k-ish compared to 3k-ish for Lacoste. Thing is, there aren't that many nice Fred Perry color combos. Once I collect the classic colors, I'd probably go back to Lacoste since they have a wider selection of nice designs.

Go for Lacoste for their sense of corporate social responsibility. They are financing a crocodile farm somewhere in Mindanao (buti not some place along Batasan). Michel Lacoste, a descendant of Rene Lacoste, visited the place 3 years ago.

Even myself i can't tell the difference between a fake and orig. Halos lacoste ang t-shirt ko nung nasa thailand ako. Parehong-pareho yung tinda sa mall at sa baiyoke.
Actually buhay pa yung iba after more than 10 years!

Kahit nakalacoste naman, kung hindi marunong magdala yung nagsusuot, wala rin.
