friend 1: you know, i was in las vegas last weekend playing cards, and i met this beautiful woman.

    friend 2: poker?

friend 1: yes, but after we played cards.

Theveed, para sa akin ganito lang yan. Newbies hope that they are lucky, while experienced player hope that your not. I admit may factor ang luck, but skill still rules at the end of the day. Newbies would chase the flush until the river. Kung swerte sila makukuha nila ung flush kung hindi wala. But experienced players would most likely fold because alam nila that the odds are not in their favor.

Chris Moneymaker just joined a sattelite tournament for $39 and turned it into 2.5M and he admittedly says he's only the third best player in his house poker game of non-pros.

But when you hear stories of rounders, Brunson, Ivey,Helmuth and the like. Skill prevails. These guys make millions just by joining tournaments. Hindi naman sila mananalo kung luck lang yung labanan. They win consistently because of their skill not because of luck. Remember luck doesn't favor anyone. Just my two cents.

On a side note, sa casino hindi house yung kalaban mo-Other players rin. The house simply takes a percentage of the the pot, since they provide the venue, food, drinks and the dealer.

...para di mabasa ng kalaban reaction ng mata nila when they look at their cards. may ininterview pa dati na he can tell if the opponent's cards are bad or good by just looking on how the opponents pupils dilate when they peek at their cards. is that even possible?

possible.your pupils dilation tells alot sa mood ng tao.

where he looks after also tells a lot.

sobrang kaunting reaction or body language will tell alot sa mga veterans na talaga sa poker.
