Reciprocal... we want better protection from criminals, not just the standard lip service shop owners get from the PNP.

Exactly! The CCTV helps establishments but still that doesn't protect citizens from the harm of criminals, which the police are supposed to be doing.

Sabi ko sa inyo maganda ng business eto eh. I've been buying a lot of used computers and LCD monitors sa tipidpc and repackaging them as surveillance system. A 15 and 16 monitor can be had for 2k lng, puwede na sa modest or nagtitipid na biz establishment with 4 cameras.

ang mas ok kse sa pcbased vs stand-alone, mas na-play Ng owner kagad video.

The CCTV does not only deter crime, it also pinpoints lazy shop employees

Other moneyed customers of mine even had their Shop surveilled thru their iPhones and iPads real-time. Kung may Dsl din nman shop eh like for example some establishments that offer free wifi to customers.

Sobrang Mura Ng pcs ngaun, I can get as low as 5k of set. But get the ones with micro ATx boards para kasya ilipat sa mga tommy or super slim cases.

I-warranty nyo na Lang yun board, pag masira eh di get another used unit sa tpc.

malaking tulong kasi sa pnp yan. makes their work a whole lot easier. problema dyan maspoil sila kelangan may ksamang video lagi ang crime na irereport mo sa kanila... pag wala video sory ka nalang

That's 4 CCTV cameras, standalone Dvr and a 1TB hard drive.

So ganun, pag tapos na Tao nyo sa installation, saka ka mag-inspect Kuno pero configure mo kagad.

The PNP is a glorified security agency IMHO.

No true investigative work. Just a lot of fat guys with guns in a uniform.
