If budget is not an issue, i would suggest to try panasonic inverter washing machine. So far ok naman ito ang gamit ko for 3 years already. Wala pa naman sira

Thanks for the info.

Sa totoo lang, any washing machine will do as long as it does the job. Electrolux pinili ko is just because I trust the brand.

Imo, if your just after function, buy the cheapest you can find. Kung may budget na, get the one you want... Well that's just me.

I was able to check some automatic washing machine models to replace the old LG we have. The old one successfully survived more than three power surges. But it was able to withstand my DIY curiosity hahaha

Basic function wifey wants is auto load detection (for overloading) and maybe auto restart.
Eying an 8kg capacity (currently have 6 kg) within Php15K budget.

    The finalist are:

Electrolux 8.5kg (both with auto load or overflow and auto restart)
Php14,500 (0% int) or Php13K (cash or straight)

LG 8.0 kg (auto load detection and auto re-start)
Php16K+++ (0% int) or Php12,300 (cash or straight) --->>> laki discount nito

I am quite torn between the two because Electrolux has a higher capacity for the same price but I have a very good experience with LG and the discount is ridiculous.

If Elctrolux overflow detection isn't the same as overload detection, I will go for LG.

    Ibig sabihin lagi nasisira? hehehe

Yung LG namin nasisira din pero most of the time dahil sa power surge after a brownout.

Multiply the price I mentioned by by at leat two and you get the front loading washer of the same capacity. Pag may dryer times 3 to 4 ang presyo.
