June 29th, 2014 02:54 PM #64I was able to check some automatic washing machine models to replace the old LG we have. The old one successfully survived more than three power surges. But it was able to withstand my DIY curiosity hahaha
Basic function wifey wants is auto load detection (for overloading) and maybe auto restart.
Eying an 8kg capacity (currently have 6 kg) within Php15K budget.
The finalist are:
Electrolux 8.5kg (both with auto load or overflow and auto restart)
Php14,500 (0% int) or Php13K (cash or straight)
LG 8.0 kg (auto load detection and auto re-start)
Php16K+++ (0% int) or Php12,300 (cash or straight) --->>> laki discount nito
I am quite torn between the two because Electrolux has a higher capacity for the same price but I have a very good experience with LG and the discount is ridiculous.
If Elctrolux overflow detection isn't the same as overload detection, I will go for LG.

June 30th, 2014 11:03 AM #69Ibig sabihin lagi nasisira? hehehe
Yung LG namin nasisira din pero most of the time dahil sa power surge after a brownout.
Yung drain motor lang ang nasira na hindi dahil dun sa surge.
Yung sirang clutch ngayon, ako sumira hahaha. pero ipapaayos ko din para dalawa washer namin. mabilis matapos labada.
