we lived in the UK for more than 4 years. everytime uuwi kaming buong pamilya, isang jeep ng kamag anak ang sasalubong. i dont care kung sabihin ng iba na OA at promdi kami dahil dyan. all i know is the feeling of being close to the family, priceless yon para sa amin. pinoy tayo at proud ako sa close family ties natin.

you'd probably do this, too (the picnic part), if your trip home from the airport takes 6 hours.. why lotsa food, you ask? why scrimp? it's a big vehicle..
not everybody who uses the airport, lives 5 km from it. (well, we do. now. before, with the mrt still un-built, we lived 2 km away..)

Cause they don't know the excitement to be back home with your family after toiling abroad for years

Actually, we are not the only people who clap and cheer as soon as the landing gears touch the ground... If you happen to travel to Israel, they do that too. In thanksgiving after passing through enemy territory and areas where the plane is vulnerable to enemy fire....
