well...gayan lahat ang maga comments ng mga tuta ni marcos nun time ng martial law. lahat daw ng nagrarally nakakapinsala na...do you think these people would just go to rally everyday just for their own sake? i would rather admire people who would risk their life to make this country better than those who would just say that rallies are jsut pure BS! if majority of the filipinos thinks like you guys...then the philippines and all of us really deserve a president like gloria.

One need not think about the motives these people have in taking to the streets; that should be pretty obvious by now. They've had their time of day, yet they still refuse to leave the stage to let the show go on.

Ask them who they want to replace Gloria with as president, and you will never get a consensus from any of them. The most they can agree on is to set up a transitional governing body that will take charge of the country in Gloria's wake. Translation: "We have no idea who, but to hell with that. We'll make up our minds after we've ousted the b*tch."

So much for the people 'risking' their lives to make this country better.

hehe...i guess it depends on whether you believe in the cause they are rallying for. pinsala kung against ka/you don't care, bayani kung in favor ka

Agree , depende nga kung saan side ka. If you're on the admin side, hindi maganda para sa bayan ang rallies. If you're on the opposition side, maganda ito to make the country better.

what's funny is that they seem to be hiding under the guise of prayer rallies. how can you pray to God with a closed fist and anger in your heart?

Mabuti nga may mga rally eh. Kasi wake-up call din yan sa nabubulag na Unano sa Malacanang who thinks she is doing well in leading the country. Anyway ayaw ko rin ng mga rally, pero isipin din ninyo kung anong klaseng bansa ang meron tayo kung walang mga tumataliwas sa mga maling gawain ng mga namamahala sa bansa.

The rallyists were given designated areas to conduct their protests/demostrations, malacañang even said that they can use media to voice out their issues. All they have to do is to abide by the rules set by government however they insist on bending/opposing these rules thus provoking police to disperse them. Ang kukulit! There are several areas like the freedom park, plaza miranda etc. where they can hold their rallies/processions, ba't kailangan pa talagang pumunta ng mendiola.....

I'm neither pro nor anti in fact I hate all form of politiking. Ang point lang ng nakaka intindi eh, mag rally kana hanggat gusto mo wag ka lang ma merwisyo.

Putek may designated na lugar naman sila! dun sila!

Other people are trying their guts to make ends meet, and here are these people messing the public order. Ano ba ang gusto nila anarchy!

And if the oposition want to take over, they just have to make sure that they have the balls to run this country well. Selfish motives lang naman lahat yan eh, both opposition and administration, kaya lang ang opposition nang gugulo na lang talaga atat na ata ika nga.

    System of checks and balances.

There are conditions for dissent to be considered legitimate. One doesn't shout his lungs out just for the hell of it.

Rallies --> good, but to a fault.
Protesters who don't stick to their end of the bargain --> bad, and as such, they always deserve what's coming to them.

That was one of their more pathetic points. Matanda na nga, isinasabak pa sa kapahamakan.

Sa tingin ko wala naman pumilit na pumunta si VP Guingona doon. Sarili nyang desisyon yun.

VP Guingona is doing a Chino Roces during Marcos era. However, the only thing they had in common is age. Iba naman ang pinaglalaban nila ngayon.

Not sure if you would agree to me pero, mas may cause pa sina Chino Roces noon kaysa mga rallies ngayon.
