Both yung jaguar and red devil diet ay majority protein based para lumaki and maganda coloration. Central American cichlids ay mostly carnivore, both jaguar and red devil are native species, hindi sya hybrid hehe.


I feed them live gold fish, may separate tank staging for feeder para sure na wala parasites before i drop sa tank.

Yun sa start sa pag set up ng tank? Naglalagay lang ako ng bacteria in a bottle then maglagay ng test fish for a week or longer then pag hinde namatay Ok na yun main na aalagaan, lately lang naman din ako bumili ng mga test kits

try plugging the pump to a regular UPS.

Madami naman battery operated na pump, di na masyado worry sa brownout especially pag may typhoon, for standby lang.

Hsppened to me before, nawalan ng kuryente dahil sa typhoon for 1.5 days, nag survive naman sa battery although nag lower ako ng level ng water sa tank since aeration pump lang yun, unlike yung system ng tank na full filtration and not the overhead one.
