Hmmm. I wonder how much is shipping costs because it's free sa seller. But then I am already paying P200+ per day for FEDEX "storage" fee. Baka abutin din ako almost P5k if I return it
I contemplated on asking the seller but it's a big Japanese company so I didn't attempt na kasi I don't think they would agree to it

April 7th, 2023 06:34 PM #326I've done this 5 or 6 times FedEx was non the wiser.. but then again you never know when they will check... from what I've seen as long as the paper work of the seller is complete they usually just deliver it direct to our doorstep.

If that's the case I'm fcked
Yes I checked the delivery fee on my previous purchase and it's USD63 then I need to add the P200+/day storage, it will add up to P5k+ nga if I return
Fedex said they will email me the requirements of customs e inabutan naman ako ng holy week, pero one of the requirements is the purchase receipt. Though iba iba naman kasi market value ng purchase ko depending on the condition
NEVER NEVER AGAIN will I buy na over P10k, in fact to be sure I will stay at USD100.

April 7th, 2023 11:30 PM #328Masakit talaga when you exceed the P10k.
General non-essential goods are taxed at 20% net of excise and VAT, and then VAT's 12% is applied on top of that 20% so total tax is around 34.4%
Assuming item is P100, x 1.2 = P120, then x1.12 = P134.4
If your item is on the list na may excise taxes then that's on top of the other stuff pa.
Excise Tax - Bureau of Internal Revenue
Learned this lesson early 90s pa when I ordered something for my computer from Canada and had to pay so much in taxes. Hindi pa uso ata yung P10k na tax-free nun.Last edited by Dr.Kamiya; April 7th, 2023 at 11:32 PM.

Tuwang tuwa ako kasi I made my first order, it was below P10k and I got the item in 2 days. On my second order P17k na but I thought 12% so I was shocked when I asked fedex for the estimated tax and it was over P6k[emoji24] I hope that's that na. Ang laki pa ng babayaran kong stupid storage fee sa FEDEX. I should have bought it after holy week
Does customs open the package ba? Baka ma damage nila

April 8th, 2023 01:15 AM #330Random ata if they will open the package or not. I think if it's through Fedex you should be safe since they have their own facility (which is why you're getting charged that storage fee).
Amazon you pay the tax up front pag order pa lang and it just arrives normally without need for any intervention.
