forwarder savings will be small, youre looking at saving probably 1k or less but the item will take a another week or two to arrive. I recently bought something from HK and used buy and ship, they charge P620 per pound with delivery duties paid. I only used it since the vendor was charging an absurd amount for shipping ($60 USD for an item was less than 1kg)

Thanks. I decided to just use the free shipping of the ebay seller (FEDEX) I made the payment April 1 and was expecting to receive on April 3 Monday or April 4 Tuesday BEFORE holy week, kasi last time I bought from the seller, I paid March 25 and received it March 27.
STUPID ME because April 2 is a Sunday so it arrived customs April 4, 5 pm. Since the item is taxable (USD302.50/PHP17k), I got a call from Fedex today that I need to submit requirements to stupid customs! I was told na Fedex charges P245 per day ata for storage after 48 hrs so tomorrow the P245 per day will start and since THU to MON are non working days that's an additional P1200 plus the P400.
The WORST NEWS was that I was expecting to pay 12% tax for P17k (PHP2k) but I was told my Fedex that the tax is P6k, what the actual fck, that's a 35% tax!!! Sa US nga USD800 up lang a taxable
I HATE THIS COUNTRY! I HOPE EVERYONE AT CUSTOMS BURN IN HELL! My Mom only gave me USD300, so where am I supposed to get the additional USD150 for the taxes and fedex fees?
So my item that's supposed to call me a total of P20k, magiging P25k!

Tama yang 35% tax, halos ganyan lagi binabayad ko sa mga taxable items that I buy online. Hindi lang naman VAT ang tax.

oh wow! I should have researched more, if I knew that's it's 35% tax then I would NOT have the bought the item. Akala ko nakamura ako. Dapat nagpabili na lang ako sa Tita ko direct sa store, may tax refund pa
Sulit lang bumili as long as it's not taxable (below P10K) and the delivery is fast kasi hindi na dadaan sa kung ano anong requirements ng customs.
Laking kamalasan pa naabutan ako ng Holy Week so I'll be paying over a thousand pesos for FEDEX Storage (such BS). This will be my first and last online purchase (that's taxable) It must be God's way of stopping me from spending money.
BTW, for the items you buy, how do you pay the custom's fees?

My Mom told me not to claim the item anymore, so I will just throw away P17k?
I can't even argue kapag pinapagalitan ako with money because I'm jobless
Sa US ang laki ng non taxable at USD800, why here na third world country USD200 lang
