Also a lot must have been lost in translation. Even the word Yahweh was created during translation. Some words have been replaced because nothing comes close to the original words.
The word YaHWeH was the closest when pronounced. How to say correctly the four letter word (tetragrammaton - YHWH) was lost and the best they can do is add those vowels. Jehovah isn't even correct since hovah has a bad meaning, it means mischief. hehe... nobody wants to name their God with that one obviously.
