Sa mga mahilig mag-shave,

as we know, ang pinakasikat na razor ngayon ay ang mga five-blade razor for example Gillette Fusion. Five-blade razors are more effective than three-blade razors.

As I was wondering, may nabibili bang ang mga ganyang klaseng razors sa Pilipinas? Just asking if five-blade razors are available in the Philippines because it's all over the world.

I use a four bladed razor.

It is kinda hard to find four bladed razor... much more harder to find five bladed razors.

True, it's pretty pricey but the "smooth-sharpness" seems to last a very long time. In fact my quad-blade still has it's original blades and I have been using it for quite a while now.

I bought a 4-bladed razor at Japan Home 88...looked aesthetically pleasing and functional. It even had a white lubricating strip. I thought it would be a big improvement over my Gillette Sensor Excel (which only had 2 blades).

I used it once, and...suffice to say, I'm never using it again.

Cheap razor blades give cheap "performance". I found that out when I tried checking the "quality" of some China-made razors that I have samples of.

It's not just the number of blades, it's the quality.

A good quality blade set, like the Sensor Excel, the Mach3 or Schick Quattro will outperform cheap disposable blades. Doesn't matter if the cheap set has twenty blades.

I'm addicted to Mach3, it's much better than my previous Sensor Excel. Was thinking about upgrading to Quattro, but the problem is, it's hard to maneuver bigger blades around tight spots on the face... and the Quattro is big...

So big, in fact, that it has five blades, actually... an extra blade in the back so you can shave those areas where the four-blade front won't fit.

Still... more blades, less wear on each blade, the smoother the shave, and the longer it lasts. Up to you whether you value smoothness or flexibility more.

san nga ba nakakabili niyan, medyo nababadtrip nadin kasi ako sa bilis ng pagtubo ng balbas at bigote ko. baka mapabagal man lang niyan even just for 1 day. ambilis talaga tumubo literally. the 5pm look shave they say is more like 2 days to me already and if i don't shave in 2 weeks time i'll pass as a middle eastern man. dati ayos lang parang astig pero ngayon nakakairita na daming nasasayang na oras kakashave every other day. pang-arab kasi ang itsura ng tubo ng balbas ko.

So far I have seen Schick Quattro sold at Rustan's in Rockwell.
