you could have crack open the air-pump and re-direct the wiring from the motor to the batter...

unfortunately its too late for the fishes...

Sad to hear about what happened sa mga fishes mo ma'm BG.

Kung fresh water, ginagawa namin, though matrabaho talaga, nililipat namin sa small aquarium wherein mas madali i-drain water at mapalitan agad ng fresh ones. No choice po eh, ganun talaga.

Unless kabitan mo ng UPS o genset ung setup mo ....joke lang po!

or live underwater plants will do, they produce oxygen for the fishes as well. ;)

    battery operated air pump....

me nabili akong battery operated air pump dati. never really tested it thoroughly though, but it sure works.

ang alam kong isa pang technique is to put all your fish into a plastic bag, bombahan ng oxygen, then seal it. not sure why it works, but i saw the shop owners at cartimar doing this nung nagbrownout dati ng matagal.

    from the other forum:
    Use battery-operated pumps.
"Anyways, I think battery pumps last for 6 hrs or longer. Never use old batteries kasi baka kaunti na lang natitira at mapabayaan mo sa gabi.

Pag biglaan and you're not home, use UPS. That should last for a few hours for as long as pump lang ang paggagamitan. Pag matagalan, battery pump lang talaga o di kaya generator kung mayroon. You can also use drip system. Don't overstock your tank. A single fh in a 75 gallon can survive for a few days. Last tip, don't feed the fish pag brownout."

Drip system - use a cup or tabo then scoop out water and place in your filter or let it drip back in every few hours - to aerate the water

Water change - change a certain percent of the water every few hours. Instructions ko sa helper namin is to change 20% 2x a day.
