It’s been a long weekend and have had the chance to watch kiddie movies/TV shows with my son; found these lines insightful:

“Ohana means family. And family means nobody gets left behind.”
Lilo, from the movie Lilo & Stitch

“This is my family… Is little, and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good.”
Stitch, from Lilo & Stitch

“Home is where you feel your best.”
Bear, from Bear in the Big Blue House

The King: “What are you doing, kid?”
Lightning McQueen: “I think the King should finish his last race.”
The King: “You just gave up the Piston Cup, you know that?”
Lightning McQueen: “Ah, this grumpy old racecar I know once told me something—It’s just an empty cup.”
From the movie “Cars”

Simba: “I know what I have to do. But going back will mean facing my past. I’ve been running from it for so long.”
(Rafiki hits Simba on the head with his stick)
Simba: “Ouch! What was that for?”

Rafiki: “It doesn’t matter, it’s in the past.”
Simba: “Yeah, but it still hurts.”
Rafiki: “Oh yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it.”
(Swings his stick at Simba again, who ducks this time)
Rafiki: “You see? So what are you going to do?”
From the movie Lion King
