Yup. i agree with ya all! I personally dont read the Standard in the first place. Maybe they want to stir controversy to up their sales hehe. No such thing as bad publicity, i suppose.

on the contrary, their issues are not marketed toward the lower class, and admit a contoversy stirs up the appetite of the reader.
so it may increase the sale of the newspaper brought about by the talks on malu f.

...any publicity, is good publicity! This could also be a ploy of a crappy paper to drum-up sales. I haven't read a copy of Manila Standard in almost 10 years :D
