AFIK, Levi's jeans that are made in pinas is exported to Germany among other countries. i bought some pairs here in tate too, some stuffs na tinitinda d2 ay; dole pineapples in cans, san miguel beer in cans, kangkong, bagoong sa bote, meron din goldilocks shop, handicrafts at marami pang iba...pero nagbaha din ang mga made in china but underlicensed ng mga U.S. company.
Pagdating sa mga malalaking gamit patok talaga ang U.S. made

    +1 sir vtec.

Sir Suv, di ka pa ba nakikita ng Phil made products that are labelled somewhere else in the world? You'd be surprised how good they are.

Anu ung sinabi ni Lucuis? Di ko nabasa

Lahat naman ng bansa may mga skilled worker.

    Pero in general sinasabi ko

Nakakita ako ng mga made in the philippines na galing sa ibang bansa.

Pero in general mas marami poor workmanship ang pinas kaysa good.

Mas grabe nga lang china dahil bugbug sarado sa trabaho mga empleyado nila.

By the way doon sa previous post ko yung last sentence eh totoo namna talaga minsan yung mga nagtatrabaho kung saan pumupunta yung kamay eh. :bwahaha:

China's quality is decent when it comes to low-tech goods like clothes, stuffed toys, etc. kung US or European company naman eh nasa kontrata naman nila ang certain levels of quality control.

Philippines is the same. i have a few clothes that have "made in the Philippines" on the label....why would i be ashamed or think they are inferior? they have been inspected by the designer's company and are good enough that he put his name on it - why would i somehow think it is inferior because the subcontractor happens to use Philippine labor?

this whole "e made in the Pilipins lang pala yan eh!" mentality is just crab mentality and reverse racism.

*TS, baka naman peke yun nabili mo or user's error ang nangyari, baka hinde dapt pwedeng i-iron yun short bec of the prints then naplantsa ng maid siyo or something...I have a 3-4 pcs lacoste nshirts a medyo pangit na ang tela dahil I think hinde iniingatan ng maid namin....to think I bought them for 3-4k each and made in france naman..and I'm sure na original dahil sa GB3 ko na boutique nila binili pero nasiira pa rin....so in short malaki rin ang role ng gumagamit sa itatagal ng damit...kahit san pa gawa yan...

IMO, you can't equat na pag bad quality made is china or made in Philippines...depende yan kahit san meron bad apples...

If one particular product has a Made in the Philippines tag, most likely it was manufactured by a Chinese-owned factory. So there's no difference at all.

    Geez, another generalization thread...

When it comes to manufacturing, gazzilion of things come into play. From the choice of raw materials (things like threads used, fabric used, rubber used, etc), to manufacturing and so on and so forth.

Even with the best hand-made products, if the raw materials used were inferior, it'll still break. There's more to the equation than "who made it".

In addition, just because a tag is made somewhere, doesn't mean it's totally made there.

Back in the days when our factory is contracted by Levi's, Marlboro, Puma etc, only part of the sewing process is done in the Phil, the labels were sewed somewhere else, so were the rivets, the dying etc were all made somewhere else.

In this day and age, does it really matter where something is from? Globalization has made that pointless.

Who cares where it's made?! As long as the design, manufacture and QC are all in shape, then at the end of the day, you still get the same product

you get what you pay for, baka naman mumurahing model kaya ganyan. alala ko dati nung puro made in australia pa ung rip curl na benta sa surf world, ang mamahal pa. pero nung nagkaroon ng made in china mas mura ung mga made in china. hindi naman panget quality pero mas maganda ung made in australia which is mas mahal din.
