Hehe... laudable naman... if they were the ones paying, and if they were paying on time. Its okay to complain on build defects and basic service shortcomings in any project whether it be high end or low end, but buyers should also know what to expect for what they're paying for, whether it be for the housing acquisition cost or for the assoc dues. I kinda liken it to those who buy budget airfares and expect first class service (not just good service but the whole hospitality shebang). If you're expecting much more than the basics, well you gotta pay.
