basta ako, kahit ano ang sabihin nila sa rides ko, basta ako iniingatan ko itong mga ito at mine-maintain. I also want high-end cars pero masyado talagang mabigat sa bulsa eh, anyway, we bought our car because we love it inspite of it's many cons.

that's why alaga ako sa sasakyan namin..ang pag-aalaga wala naman yan sa kung gaano ka expensive ang sasakyan eh..nasa pagmamahal mo yan sa oto mo.. it's a way of "thanking" your car kaya you take care of it..

This is so true. There was a time when I spent most of my Saturdays having my car fixed. So far it's not giving me problems anymore. I am very happy with my Corolla but I wouldn't mind having a Pajero, LC or Safari

Whatever your car is, be proud of it. No matter how crappy or expensive it is, if you love it, you'll just see it as a " treasure ".

Old cars tend to have a sentimental value, one reason why an owner doesn't want to release it despite it's problems popping up.

So guys, no matter what your car is, as long as you're proud of having it, then you shouldn't care about what people are saying about it.

    Nice read.

First of all, luxury is relative.

There is always somebody "below" or "above". And yeah, what matters most is attitude. Nasa pagdadala din.

I also totally agree with PS who wrote the column. One who really got my respect is one who is cool on the road, drives smoothly, respectful for others, put premium on driving safely, and one who takes car of his car/s just as he takes care of himself.

And by doing so , you are an envy to others.

The root word "luxus" is derived form the French which means "dislocated". Sa atin it may go in the vernacular as "kakaiba ka 'pre!". Hopefully for the right reasons.

Yes..one that I can't forget was the Hilux with an HID behind me one time when I stopped * the church because my mom and bro were going out of the car, the Hilux turned off his HID, then lit in back on once I parked..very simple ang ginawa niya, but he got my respect..alam niya dapat gawin, di tulad ng iba naninilaw pa

it's human nature to be envious. it takes the strongest will and determination for one to be contented of what he has.

if we slowly try to move on from desiring the things we don't have to being just thankful for what we already possess, we train ourselves to be happy with even the simplest things we are blessed with. Afterall, there will ALWAYS be someone who has more than what we have.

very nice article. serves as a reminder for us all. thank you for sharing.
