There are numerous types of racing helmets nowadays. Anyone familiar with brands and designs? I'm actually looking for a specific model I saw used in Full Metal Challenge. Full face but the actual mouth of the user can be seen and his words can easily be seen.

    It was something like this:

try mo hjc, its DOT and SNELL approved. Dealer is JT Triumph along west avenue(yung building ng honda motorbikes). It will cost u atleast Php2.6t for a full face helmet. SHOEI and Arai can go up as much as 10t. If ur going to buy, be sure na DOT n SNELL approved para protected ka talaga

yup, the best affordable helmet with D.O.T. approval is HJC. Don't get just any helmet without D.O.T. approval if you are seroius about safety. used to have a HJC i bought from JT na siinasabi ni trup. pero it was stolen. buti na lang di nanakaw pati motorbike ko. muntik na. so my wife bought me an Arai (around 17k) hehe. it is very comfortable and top qual ang materials pero HJC is not far behind.
off topic, i heard ungas, you be joining isuzu challenge on the 27th? kasali din ako eh. fuego category, last year's record holder. hope to see you then.

ungas is going hardcore off-roading!!! ?

I recommend Shoei, maganda ang fit...kaso talagang mahal...I had a hand-me-down shoei pero di sya full-face mask....pang light duty baga.

    Brands:
    - Index
    - Shoei
    - Arai
    - HJC
DOT / SNELL approved. Price Php3,000-Php17,000. Ganun pala kamahal ang helmets.

Any specific model I should look out for? Pwede rin namang open face, but I'd rather protect it full with chin part.

    OT:
boybi::: Swap ko yung Beast sa isang Ducati Monster 749. (joke joke joke!)

wildthing & wreckless::: Well, pinagiisipan ko nga yan, kaso mga 10 years pa siguro pag talagang baldado na sasakyan ko.

trup, odell & toyboxph::: Thanks for your valuable inputs! Nasabit lang po ako sa Isuzu Challenge. :D Hope to see you there! RedHorse will bring his 4x2 White Trooper with DieselClub.org sticker at the back. Please don't hesitate to approach us if spotted.
