Good work sir impulzz!
I was very fond with Mr. Alcala's work back and even collected some, and eventually lost, his full page cartoon series usually found at the very last page of Panorama magazine.
He was also the idol for Pol Medina of Pugad Baboy fame.Last edited by Memphis Raines; September 7th, 2007 at 11:59 PM.

September 8th, 2007 12:05 AM #4i believe siya ang pioneering cartoonist dito sa pilipinas sa mga newspapers. He is like the godfather of philippine cartoonists. I used to look at his drawings to find how many larry alcalas are there in the pic.

Alcala is dead. I enjoyed his sunday cartoons... the ones where youre supposed to look for his signature self portrait.

I love his work and enjoy trying to find him among the "chaos" of what's going on in the strip!
