I have two backpacks with laptop compartments. one is a Hawk cybergear bag bought in Manila a few years ago and the other is a Golla bag bought for $30 at an outlet store 'bout a month ago.
good enough for me since i also carry a small camera bag. I put the backpack under seat while the camera bag goes in the overhead compartment.

April 16th, 2010 12:00 PM #18my wife got me a tumi tech laptop backpack a few years ago .. it's not big but big enough for laptop, accessories and a couple of shirts .. it will be too small for a big jacket though but alright for a light wind breaker..
i have another tumi tech stroller that has a laptop compartment which i use for travelling .. small enough to be considered a handcarry ..

If backpacks aren't out of the question, try to look at Deuter.
My current backpack is their Giga. It'll accept laptops up to 15.2" in a dedicated padded cell that forms the back panel of the backpack.

The Giga seems built for outdoorsy people and true-blue backpackers: reflective strip for night walking, pockets for water bottles, key ring lanyard, pen holders and two zippered compartments - one for smaller gadgets and another big enough for clothes and shoes.
There are other variants of the Giga in case you want something more svelte.Last edited by Type 100; April 16th, 2010 at 02:41 PM.

Back to the topic.
If you want conservative styles, you can go for Tumi, Briggs and Riley, Victorinox, Coach, Kenneth Cole or Samsonite.
If you want more sporty styles you can pick from Oakley, Ogio, Jansport, Northface, Eddie Bauer, Incase and maybe popular local brands.
Online stores carry most of these bags. I'm sorry, I don't know any stores in pinoyland.
There is really no best laptop bag. What may be good to others may not be good for you. So better visit any luggage store and check out what they have.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
