share ko lang. it is not correct to refer to bisaya, kapampangan, ilokano, etc. as dialects. these are languages. dialects are variations of a language. e.g. batangueno tagalog. it's tagalog still, but with a few differences. like, in batangueno tagalog, ganoon is said as gay-on, and kumain is said as nakain (kumain ka na ba? = nakain ka na ba?).

When stationed in spain, i had 1 spanish class in elementary to familiarize us with it. grade 3-6. Then Grades 7-11, I took spanish. Before I was good in Spanish, but not so much now.
