I just arrived from the fort, siyempre we looked for KK, ang lambot ng donuts at straight from the oven served siya mainit pa, naka 3 libre ako. hehehe, sulit naman kasi masarap yung original glazed.. wala na pila nung pumunta kami ng mga 11am kanina apat kami nakakuha ng free...

binili ko pala yung one dozen original and one dozen assorted.

hanggang kailan kaya natin makikitang may mahabang pila diyan? sa gonuts donuts nawala na ang pila simula nang madagdagan ng branches (siguro nagsawa na rin ang karamihan)...

kakabili lang namin kanina 11:30pm. 15 minutes lang nakuha ko na yun tig-550 na package nila. may free taste pa ...

the verdict:

* masarap ang ice blended original kreme w/ caffeine hehehe
(well compared to double chocolate)

* I prefer the ordinary glaze over the assorted ones. kaka-addict sarap talaga. hindi mo maikukumpura sa Gonuts. suddenly gonuts became dunkin.

* hindi na ako babalik sa gonuts. dito na lang ako sa KK glaze kahit P30, worth it. minsan lang naman ako kumain ng donut.

* yun assorted, nakikikagat lang ako sa mga kapamilya ko. too sweet for me and yun donut di kasing lambot ng glaze. masarap yun new york cheesecake donut pero sobra sweet eh.

* may isang bad trip lang sa pre-assorted package nila, sinamahan pa din ng isang glaze. although for me, oks lang hehehe. I love the glaze! Melts in your Mouth !!!! mmmmm .... tsalap

if they can produce 3,000 original glazed in 1 hour.. and assuming everything was bought by the dozen at PHp265.00 per dozen, operating hours of 8am to 10pm (14 hours)

3,000 x 14 hours = 42,000 / 12 = 3,500 dozens x 265.00 = Php927,500.00 per day

927,500.00 x 365 = Php338,537,500.00 per year on one store! original glazed pa lang yan!

US$3M per store.. so in 1 year.. bawing bawi na yung Php150M na puhunan.

that's for 1 store pa lang.. tsaka glazed pa lang yung 3,000 per hour.. sobra talagang overpriced.. kung ang man power siguro wala pang 1M per month yan for 1 store.. mahal mahal lang yung rental.. palagay nang 5M per year.. tubong tubo pa rin.. imagine another 9 stores na ganyan.. jackpot ang Max's.

yan ata main reason kaya pilit na kinuha ni Max ang Krispy Kreme.

if you look at the krispy kreme website.. parang ang total investment eh US$30M.. minimum of 10 stores.. so parang US$3M per store in franchise fee pa lang kaya to?? sobrang mahal..

Just like here in Sydney the first time they open, grabe din haba ng pila. But now wala nagsawa na rin siguro mga tao. Nagkataon pa client namin yung isang warehouse/branch nila eh once a month andun ako, kung magbigay 5 boxes . Kakasawa na rin. Pero da best is the original glazed.

pansin ko lang parang bulok ang "gas release" ko ngaun, ganun din last weekend eh. before I thought baka imay ba lang ako nakain. pero ngaun eto lang dinner ko eh.

Para sa kin, mas type ko pa din yung Honey Glazed ng Mister Donut tapos Go Nuts then Krispy Kreme. It's too sweet and very expensive. Sinamahan ko classmate ko kahapon sa Fort so nakipila ako. Naka-5 free donuts ako! hehehe! Nothing beats free!
