are you aware about this virus?
nasa calumpit, bulacan na daw ito.![]()
i've just see news yesterday! dina naman daw ito masyadong delikado kumpara sa mga na-unang virus at ayun sa mga kinu=uukulan ay may preventive measure na silang ginagawa, usually this bird coming from candaba where a wide place and some part of bulacan aside calumpit from migrate outside neighbor philippines.
tangnang press...
dapat higpitan na
tayo na nga lang bird flu virus free, pakakalat pa ng disinformation... kwawa naman kaming magsasaka ng pato, itik at manok!
The press people keeps blowing things out of proportion.
The anti-viral/anti-flu medicine that you can buy at your local drugstore can cure that flu. If you already have a flu shot, then you don't have anything to worry about.
If the flu hits you, it would hit you. The symtoms of birds flu is like trankaso but twist: if the avian flu has become very bad, it can cause difficulty in breathing, which could be fatal to those people who have lung ailments.

just hope people don't panic and bring down the local poultry industry...
parati naman media nagpapalala ng lahat, yun virus scare sa Baguio sila din may kasalanan nun. kawawa naman Baguio
oh no! oh no! it's coming back again......

Indonesia suspected case

China, Europe and Russia confirmed also
BTW, news is that malaki change dadapo dito. It's suggested that if possible, magpaflu-shots kayo, it doesn't prevent H5N1 but if you got a flu after the shots, then it'll be easier to detect and isolate.
Also, yung hospital sa Alabang lang ang may A/C na pahigop instead of pabuga, if this becomes airborne, yun lang pinakasafe na hospital...
Lastly 2 lang daw treatment center ng prepared for H5N1, yung San Lazaro and another one, I forgot....
pano yung mga nasa probinsya or yung mga nasa cebu or mindanao, meron ding bang ganitong hospital?
As far as I know the virus isn't transferred airborne naman, mahirap kung nag mutate then airborne na sya then yari na, ala HK na tayo nyan na nakamask lahat.
Hoarding na ng surgical masks...
actually hindi naman kaya ng mask na ganya iprevent yun. just like any flu it is usually contact and "airbourne" sa mga "particulate" that could carry the virus...AFAIK flu virus from birds (domesticated or wild) will be your primary source....how would you stop your lowly maya bird from exposing you?!?
lagot, ang dami pa naman poultry dito sa amin.
hindi ba nageexpire mga masks na N95? meron kasi kaming mga nabili nung kasagsagan ng SARS. 3-4 yrs na rin yun.

i dont believe in masks, vitamins and others.
best way to combat viruses ... exercise & lots of fluid & dont overeat.
di ba nagka issue ung isang ospital sa taiwan coz of the air vents? something about the virus being transmitted via air ducts...theveed:Also, yung hospital sa Alabang lang ang may A/C na pahigop instead of pabuga, if this becomes airborne, yun lang pinakasafe na hospital...
btw, does anyone know who's importing the N95 face masks and tamiflu?
N95 is from 3M. hotcake nga to nung SARS, halos naubos stock namin hehe
Roche po ang may gawa ng Tamiflu. Actually, I think their plant here in RP manufactures it too, but most of the stock is being sent overseas because there is greater demand there at the moment.Originally Posted by badkuk
