as the new year passed, as with other new years, filipinos have been using pyro explosives for the passing of the last year. the debris left behind by these pyrotechnic materials are left on the side of the streets not being cleaned up. the debris usually end up in the storm drains in addition to the cigarette buts our irresponsible kababayans leave behind. no wonder manila always experiences flooding. this attitude is comparable to taking a piss or defecating in the pool you are swimming in. when is the government or the press going to remind our dear irresponsible kababayans to "police up" or clean up their mess. we are so used to having maids cleaning up after ourselves. revelry during the new year is fine, celebrations is fine, however, we need to think "green" and not litter the streets with these unnecessary debris that lead to our flooding. we live on the same earth and need to be responsible for the preservation of the environment for the next generations to come. saving the earth is everybody's responsibility.
and its right above an electric motor....
