    yung dito sa 'min, ayon sa ming design engineer, styrofoam pwede daw for 60°C and below. meron din yung tawag perlite or silicalite - para syang refractory material na porous - para syang pre-formed plaster of paris na nakakorte ng pang wrap sa steam pipes. for high temp applications fiberglass daw pero di raw advisable fiberglass kung exposed sa sunlight + rain yung pipes unless it is well clad and covered with aluminum sheets and sometimes, asphaltic material. corrosive daw fiberglass pag nabasa at nagco-collapse daw. so take your pick.
