OT? I don't believe in OT as nothing is OT here. You can talk about anything here in the forum like your life, love, fantasy, weird images, etc. Unless OT is overtime...

This reminds me, there's a guy here who has weird images and there's another with dreams and ideas. I think he has uploaded a few YouTube videos. I just can't remember who the guy is.
If you have a bank account, just use a Mastercard debit card ... most bank's ATM cards have this feature already ... there is really no need for PayMaya or GCash ... it's for people who are not qualified to open a bank account ...
For safer online transaction(s) ... what you can do is open a separate ATM savings account that has a Mastercard Debit card feature ... maintain a small balance on that account (2000 or 5000) ... whenever you want to make a purchase, transfer funds from your main account to the ATM debit savings account ... this way, if ever someone "steals" or hacks your debit card, the maximum risk is just the small balance on that account ... with a credit card, your maximum risk is your credit limit ...
Or if you want to use credit card, request for an virtual credit card for online purchases ... but the separate savings account with debit card is still safer ...
Also, as much as possible, use a computer for online transactions (banks, purchases, bill payments, etc) ...
The interface of PayMaya is easy, with it's transaction history displayed right away. Easy login method compared to other mobile app like UCPB, it will always ask for OTP. There are times that BPI is down. PSBank is taking forever to get through. I haven't tried BDO so I don't know how it compares to other.
Another thing I saw in PayMaya, the virtual card is easy to access. With a physical debit card, I have to get it and check the number and CVV. Well, I'm just lazy to go out and get the card inside my car.

Anyways, I just gave it a try and wanted to know if there are any advantages of using it. I hope those who tried it can share their experiences.
Typical smart arrogance, you want internet, you have to buy our bundle with phone, while globe has internet only at a lower price with the phone option.
Are debit cards already accepted for online use? Last time I asked BDO and BPI, they said not yet.
Kunsabagay, that's already a gateway to your savings account, unless it's another account to be funded only when needed.
