ingat kau when u ride a cab, my fren was abducted by a cab driver for almost 2 days, kakabalik nya lang n was traumatized by the experience, she was raped n cant remember everything that happened so we dont know d whole story, she's confined in d hospital now. This happened in broad daylight! She's supposed to graduate this sem but her parents will take her back to cebu

they didnt report the incident.

I understand her decision. She wants to keep her secret. But i cant say that that's the right decision. Anyway, i hope she gets through this okay. Rape is such a brutal crime. Even though such a thing happened to her, at least the bastard let her live.

But if i were in her shoes, i'd put that SOB where he belongs.... in the death chamber (if gloria agrees to it).

dapat kasi when a girl rides a taxi, she should call somebody and tell that person the plate number of the taxi she is in. this should be done in such a way that the driver can hear the call.

kami ng misis ko nung hindi pa kami kinakasal, ganyan lagi. pag di ko sya masundo, tawag nya sa akin yung plate number ng taxi the moment she gets into the cab. at pati yung name ng taxi driver ask nya at inform nya sa akin. that way, kahit ano pa nasa isip ng driver mawawala yan kasi alam nya ma-trace siya. deterrence works.

actually even if you don't really make the call (say wala ka load), just pretend that you're making one. just say "mommy, i'm in a taxi, plate number ******. name ng driver, excuse me mamang driver patingin ng id nyo, name nya mr. xyz. ok mommy, bye." pag tinanong ng driver bakit e di sabihin mo marami ka narinig na driver ng taxi ang nanghoholdap o kidnap.

kaya i never let my gf take a cab. i hahatid ko nalang. the she would always say it's unfair bakt guys pwede mag isa sya daw ndi. . . that's my reason.

minsan my wife (<<<that's her on the left), nung hindi pa kami kasal, she went to visit her aunt in caloocan. tapos nung pauwi wala sya makita taxi so she boarded a jeepney. pagsakay nya sa jeep may napansin sya 2 guys na sumabay sa kanya. then when she got off where she can get a bus, baba din yung 2 then sakay din sa bus na sinakyan nya. she also noticed na nakatingin sa kanya yung dalawa lagi. so she texted me. i called her up and asked her where she was na. i told her to get off in a place that is well lighted, with a security guard. so she got off at mercury drug sa edsa and told the guard that there were 2 men following her. true enough the 2 guys got off the bus also and stayed outside. ako i got in my car and talaga namang harurot patakbo ko to get to where she was. pag dating ko dun meron na police car. the mercury drug manager called caloocan police. luckily one of my wife's cousins is with the SWAT, name drop lang nya so agad may dumating na police. wala na yung 2 maniakis, tumakbo daw nung nakita si misis na kausap yung manager at tinuro nya sila dun sa manager saka sa guard. pansin ng pulis yung bitbit kong gun pero di na tinanong, sabi nung isa ok lang at emergency.

anyway, after that di ko na pinayagan lumakad magisa gf ko. kung di ko pwede ihatid-sundo at mag-taxi sya, lagi may kasama saka tawag or text nya agad yung taxi plate number saka name ng driver. routine na namin yan. kahit ngayon na kasal na kami yun pa din ginagawa namin lalo na pag wala ako at nasa work dito sa abroad.

asking for d name of the driver is a good suggestion.

BTW, SOP din namin ng GF ko yan... to text the plate number and any other pertinent info about the taxi/driver when she rides one.

Dapat kasi very strict na sila sa pag lalagay ng Drivers Details sa mga taxi... Dami ko ng na puntahan na other countries .. mostly lahat ng CAB.. may malalaking ID ang driver posted sa passenger seat... minsan lang di mo ma basa kasi hindi English hehehee

Dapat mag lagay sila ng A4 size na Drivers Details and Taxi details...

Kaya ako di na ko nasakay ng taxi lalo na pag solo ... hanap nalang ako ng makakasama... (sa Quezon Ave. lalo na sa gabi hehehe)
